Customer Support and Ingestion Engineer

Job Purpose

To provide exceptional customer support on Mimecast Services through technical account relationships with all Mimecast customers. This will include providing 2nd line support to the UK client base and assisting with the ingestion process by importing historical mail from a customer's existing environment (such as Exchange or an alternate archive solution).

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Providing telephone and email based support to the UK client base#
• Assist clients with the use of the Mimecast services and ensure best practice configuration
• Assist clients on the entire ingestion process including advising them on best practice guidelines for data preparation and updating them on the ingestion status
• Provide UK Service Delivery on Microsoft based applications
• Train customers and partners via online training methods
• Implementation of Mimecast services for clients and the tracking and management of customer trials
• Create FAQ's and customer help documentation
• Work with and provide exceptional support to Mimecast partners and resellers.
• Provide industry leading levels of support to all customers at all times.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate for the Mimecast team will demonstrate the following attributes:-

• Experience of providing technical support to SMB and Enterprise Administrators
• Experience with Microsoft Exchange 2003 and 2007
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory
• Recognise that customer satisfaction is a principle measure of our business and our values
• Instinctively find practical solutions to complex problems
