Integration Build Engineer
Job Purpose
We are looking for an experienced Continuous Integration Build engineer to join our Engineering team at our Kings Cross office in London. The ideal candidate will be someone who possesses excellent problem solving skills, has a diverse set of technical skills. The ideal candidate will also possess strong analytical skills and have a high attention to detail.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Managing and monitoring our Continuous Integration environment
- Managing and improving our build tools. Experience with maven, msbuild and rake
- Configuration and deployment of our development infrastructure
- Experience with monitoring, automation and configuration tools like Opsview, Nagios, Spacewalk and Puppet. Additional knowledge of Windows + Exchange would be a plus
- Learn all relevant aspects of current and new product rollouts to ensure ongoing improvement of product and technical knowledge
Person Specification
Essential:
- Educated to A level or equivalent in an IT related subject
- Experience in build engineering or system administration
Technical Expertise:
- Experience in using Java/C#/Ruby build tools (Maven, MSBuild, Rake)
- Experience with Continuous Integration Tools (Hudson/Jenkins, CruiseControl, Bamboo)
- Knowledge of CentOS and/or Windows environments and configuration tools, particularly Opsview, Nagios, Spacewalk and Puppet
Desirable:
- Technical Certifications in programming, Linux Engineering and Networking
- Experience in building and managing virtualised server farms
- Practical Experience in a Continuous Delivery environment
